(SCROLL DOWN FOR ENGLISH) En agosto postulé esta obra para participar de @artelamroth En su momento les conté que la hice en honor a Philadelphia (la ciudad del amor fraternal) donde vivimos hace algunos años. Cuando llegó el momento de ponerle un título a la obra, no lo dudé. Tomé prestadas las palabras de Lin Manuel Miranda que tanto me hicieron llorar y se las comparto: “Vivimos en tiempos difíciles en los cuales el odio y el miedo parecen hacerse más fuertes / Debemos surgir e iluminar en honor a aquellos muertos, porque la esperanza y el amor duran para siempre. El amor es amor, es amor, es amor, es amor, es amor y el amor no se puede matar/tenemos que llenar el mundo con música, amor y orgullo”. Su discurso resuena muy fuerte, sobre todo hoy. Amen con todas sus fuerzas, háganle saber a sus hijos que los aman, y si son densos como yo, repítanselo varias veces al día. Que nunca lo duden ni se lo cuestionen; que sepan que hay una persona -o muchas- que los aman incondicionalmente. Llénenlos de besos aunque después los muy ingratos se los saquen. Regálenles la tranquilidad de saber que pase lo que pase, van a estar ahí a su lado. Hoy más que nunca “Love is love is love is love”.❤️❤️❤️

When naming this piece I borrowed Lin Manuel Miranda’s words: “We live through times when hate and fear seem stronger/We rise and fall and light from dying embers/Remembrances that hope and love lasts long/And love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love/Cannot be killed or swept aside/Now fill the world with music love and pride”. Love with everything you are. Let your kids know you love them, and if you’re clingy like me, repeat it several times a day. Let them have no doubt that there is a person -or several- out there who loves them unconditionally. Kiss them even if they scrunge their little ingrate noses in disgust. Give them the gift that you’ll be right beside them no matter what. Today more than ever “Love is love is love is love”.
